The Humanoid Robot Football League is a football league established to bridge the gap between academic R&D and industrial applications through the high-stakes environment of autonomous sports. Officially formed in December 2025 during its inaugural technical exchange competition in Jinan, the league provides a platform for talent demonstration, skill exchange, and inter-regional cooperation.
Humanoid Hardware Platforms: Competitions utilize middle size and large size humanoid robots, which feature advanced AI performance and multiple degrees of freedom to enable human-like movement.
Technical Focus: Matches, such as the 3v3 standard format and 2v2 mixed teams format, challenge teams to develop AI algorithms for precise soccer ball recognition, path planning, and multi-machine coordination.
Total Autonomy: In accordance with official rules, robots must act entirely on their own during matches; no remote operation, external power, or "remote brains" are permitted.
Educational Ecosystem: The league supports a "teaching-learning-practice-competition-application" cycle, offering tailored curricula for K12, vocational, and university levels to foster talent in embodied intelligence.
